The Art of Embroidery

We are pleased to announce that our Fifth Intangible Cultural Heritage Embroidery Art Exhibition will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2026.

The theme of this year's exhibition is "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains " and "Nature of Australia." Through the art of embroidery, the exhibition showcases the rich heritage of traditional Chinese culture alongside the unique landscapes and natural beauty of Australia. The artworks create a meaningful dialogue between Eastern artistic traditions and Australia's remarkable natural environment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our event organisers, Mr. Peter Russo MP, Member for Toohey, and the Queensland Embroidery Arts Association (QEAA), as well as to all our Patrons and Sponsors for their generous support and valuable contributions to the success of this event.

Your commitment to promoting cultural heritage and community engagement has made this exhibition possible, and we sincerely appreciate your continued encouragement and support.
